Teen Support Groups
Restoring Hearts Counseling offers online weekly teen support groups. The small groups assist teens with pornography and other online struggles, and are intended for teens ages 13-17. The purpose of these groups is to help teens understand God’s purpose for sex and marriage and deal with the dangers of being online. Each group lasts thirteen weeks, providing an opportunity for teens to connect and support one another. The resource book used is Pure Teens: Honoring God, Relationships, and Sex by Dr. John Thorington. Some of the topics include: A Deadly War Declared, Your Future is at Stake, The Brain—Hooked or Healthy, Becoming Who God Made You, Putting on the Full Armor, Living in the Promised Land, and more.
