Tanya S. Walker, of Sacred Serenity Counseling LLC, is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Tanya is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC), and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). With a focus on employing therapeutic techniques such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and client-focused therapy, Tanya works with clients facing a range of challenges. She also offers Christian counseling upon client request.

Her areas of expertise include addiction in any form, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health-related issues. Tanya has a deep belief that through Jesus Christ, the Mighty Counselor, we can all enjoy the abundant life that He promises us in John 10:10, to include healing from mental health struggles.
