Rebuild Your Marriage on a Foundation of Faith with a 3-Day Couples Intensive
This intensive program serves the needs of couples who are experiencing sexual addiction. A licensed counselor will address the structural damage that takes place in most systems within sexually addictive relationships.
To address these destructive patterns, the intensive for couples has been designed to help break free and reclaim their lives. With evidence-based treatments, multiple modalities, and compassionate support, healing and long-term recovery are made achievable. Ultimately, a future filled with hope, purpose, and restoration becomes possible.
Intensives consist of individual sessions and couple sessions. The couple will attain skills and goals to count themselves among the many clients who have successfully remained in committed relationships after becoming aware of sexual addiction. A fresh start is possible with the tools attained from this intensive. This intensive includes one counseling session for the addict, one session for the partner and one session as a couple with a licensed counselor each day. Structured assignments are given to you to work on during your own time.
During the intensive, a significant part of the work is to help the wife. We will help your wife deal with trauma experienced by the partner’s acting out. Additional work will help you define, develop, and maintain healthy boundaries. The goal is to empower you within the relationship. Determining what you need to feel safe and helping you develop a long-term plan for self-care. We will also collaborate with you and your partner to design and lay a foundation for rebuilding trust. Of course, we will highlight the subject of healthy sexuality, how to move toward it, and how to experience it.
For couples working through the challenges of sex addiction, this intensive is uniquely designed to restore relationships. Frequently, couples seek this intensive therapy immediately after discovering the addiction. Over the course of ten sessions in 3 days, the program works toward healing and recovery. The counselor collaborates with both partners to address the damage caused by sex addiction and guide them toward rebuilding their relationship. Specifically, the intensive aims to:

- Repair the relational harm caused by the addiction.
- Equip couples with skills and goals to strengthen their commitment.
- Foster trust through counseling sessions.
- Reinforce real life-change concepts through structured assignments and workbooks.
- Offer support through Freedom Groups and Partner’s Support Groups.
- Provide follow-up opportunities for continued progress.
