Intensive Marriage Counseling
Healing Betrayal Together is focused on overcoming addictive behaviors and restoring relational dynamics and intimacy. Couples can be in the beginning stages of recovery and even question whether they want to stay together. They only need to be open to that possibility if they experience healing in their relationship. Real issues are addressed using recovery modalities, trauma informed treatment, and a systemic framework for ongoing growth and healing. Couples will also develop a growth plan that emphasizes each person focusing on his/her own growth.

Most couples that attend are experiencing a significant amount of marital distress or have even begun the divorce process. If you find yourselves stuck in patterns and cycles of conflict, an intensive could be right for you.
Healing Betrayal Together Marriage Intensives Work Best For:
- Couples facing painful and persistent conflicts or challenges they have not been able to resolve through regular therapy.
- Partners looking for a structured, intensive approach to make substantial progress in a short time frame.
- Those willing to fully engage in the process and are committed to making positive changes in their relationship.
- Couples that will act on what they learn and develop in their experience and can implement the tools after the intensive experience.
- Couples that want to dive deep and intentionally over three days instead of over many months in therapy.

This Marriage Intensive Is Not a Good Fit For:
- Couples who are not yet ready to address their issues or have already decided to end their marriage relationship.
- Those who are continuing in an affair or are unwilling to address and overcome their addiction with ongoing support and individual therapy.
- Couples who are not open to intensive, focused work or are seeking immediate, surface-level solutions rather than deep, systemic, and heart-felt change.
What Can You Expect from Healing Betrayal Together?
This unique couples’ intensive is a highly focused modality. What you can expect is to foster respect, affection, and closeness, beginning to rebuild trust when it has been damaged or lost. You will create a shift in your interactional positions and initiate new cycles of interaction to build and share a deeper connection with each other’s inner worlds. Keep conflict discussions calm and experience breakthroughs on gridlocked perpetual differences. Expand and re-organize key emotional responses and foster the creation of a secure bond between partners. We will also develop a plan to strengthen and maintain gains in your relationship that you will be able to implement once the intensive is complete.

Day 1: Evening Session: 6-8 PM

How Does Payment Work?
The cost for the Couple Intensive is $4,000. Reserve your intensive by making a 50% deposit of $2000, with payment in full required no later than 3 weeks prior to attending sessions. There is a 3-week cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel prior to 3 weeks before the scheduled intensive, you will receive a refund, less a 10% cancellation fee.
What About Refunds?
No refunds are available within 3 weeks of a scheduled intensive (except in the case of an emergency hospitalization or death in the family). Your experience can be rescheduled one time; however, the new date must be within 3 months of your original date. There is a fee for rescheduling of $300.
Where is Our Location?
Our office is located in Huntsville, Alabama, in the beautiful Tennessee Valley with close proximity to The US Space and Rocket Center, the outdoors at the Botanical Garden, the history at Burritt on the Mountain, and the Arts at Low Mills Arts and Entertainment.
You can stay in a local hotel or commute back to your home depending on the distance to travel. We can provide a list of local hotels for your convenience.
